1924
The brand name Mahlkonig was officially registered in Hamburg, Germany by Stawert Muhlenbau GmbH & Co. KG.
In 1950, the company launched the EK0 W1 BN coffee grinder (the forerunner of the EK43).
In 1960, the company decided to focus on the manufacturing of coffee grinders.
In 1970, EK23 (the predecessor of EK43) was officially born.
In 1990, the Mahlkonig EK43 was officially launched! In just 30 years, the EK43 has become the best-selling professional coffee grinder in history.
In 1999
Mahlkonig launched its first espresso grinder: K60 ES.
In 2004, the birth of the K30 ES marked the beginning of Mahlkonig's adoption of a brand-new, signature design language for its espresso grinders.
In 2008
The K30 Twin coffee grinder has been officially launched.
In 2009, Mahlkonig became the official coffee grinder sponsor of the WBC World Barista Championship for the first time.
In 2013, EK43, with its outstanding uniformity in grinding and single grinding capacity, became the top choice for numerous stores worldwide.
In 2017, the EK43 S was officially launched. It retains the powerful functions of the EK43 while reducing its original size, making it more compact overall.
In 2018, the E65S espresso grinder was officially launched. With a brand-new design concept, the E65S marked the entry of espresso grinders into the next generation.
In 2019
The by-weight grinding technology has been officially applied to commercial coffee bean grinders.
The year 2023
The legend continues: EK Omnia is officially released. EK Omnia integrates Mahlkonig's breakthrough technology, winning high trust from customers with outstanding consistency and precision.
Innovation continues: E80W Grind-by-Sync, through wireless synchronization technology, can achieve seamless matching with espresso machines.
The year 2024
Mahlkonig celebrated its 100th anniversary with grand events in Shanghai, Chicago, Copenhagen and other places.
